Former international rugby player and Audi Ireland brand ambassador Rob Kearney meets Bundee Aki, Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose for Practice is Progress, a video series by Audi. Kearney turns host to find out what drives and motivates the rugby stars both on and off the field.
This three-part series follows Rob Kearney as he takes the Audi Q8 e-tron to meet the players on their home turf. Episode one, out now kicks off with Kearney chatting to Audi Galway brand ambassador Bundee Aki over a round of golf.
Bundee Aki opens up to his former provincial rival and international teammate, discussing the rigorous training schedules ahead of international competition, family-life in Galway and the famous ‘Bundee Barrista’. Speaking about progress, Bundee discusses the importance of staying grounded “once you stay grounded you improve not only as a player but as a person as well.”
In episode two, released next Thursday (25th August) Audi Athlone brand ambassador Robbie Henshaw gives a candid insight into his love for his hometown of Athlone, and shares his passions and interests, taking Rob on a boat trip around Lough Ree. Robbie gives his take on the bright future of rugby and the importance of giving back to the younger generations.
The final episode, to be released on 30th August sees Audi Ireland brand ambassador Garry Ringrose sharing his favourite hobby of sea-swimming, getting Rob into the Irish sea for a swim. Garry speaks to Rob about game-day preparation, dealing with performance set-backs and provincial versus international competition.
